I've been thinking about quilted floral jackets a lot. Are you tired of the prairie thing? I still like it, unless it is really over the top. I am not sure if I should try to find one, but here are a few ladies who make the Gunnies look so good.
i always loved these. now is the time to buy one with the whole ditsy trend ON FIRE. thanks for reminding me about these. i am officially on the hunt for one starting now!
Very spooky - I'm actually planning to sew one for quite some time. Still looking for the perfect fabric though and I'm not sure if I can pull the look off.
I love the first one! I've tried many of these on but never found one that fits me right... the sleeves are always so boxy. I should just get one and alter it.
i got one on clearance last year at urban. it's extremely comfortable, almost like wearing a quilt. i haven't worn it outside of the house yet b/c it's a size too big so it doesn't close properly. i was thinking of using a kilt pin but i could see forsee bad things happening to both me and the jacket if i did.
Love it and not at all tired of it!

ReplyDeleteThe other day a woman walking in front of me had on a glorious floral jacket. If only I had worked up the nerve to ask her about it!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you ladies agree with me! Now I have to look out for one -- Gunne Sax is pretty rare in Canada!
ReplyDeletei like this, and could see you looking quite nice in one!
