cozytown 2

I can start packing up my books because we have written confirmation on our dream apartment! We move at the end of April, and I can't wait! I have a summer's worth of bike rides across Harbord waiting for me.

I'm still a searching for mine, but I've got a little while yet. I'm thinking the Annex/Kensington. Thoughts?

  3. Thanks! I should qualify that by "dream apartment" I mean "dream apartment that we can actually afford!" Two very different things.

Erica, we have an extra room so you can stay with us, haha! Annex/Kensington are perfect areas! You'd love them.

  10. Thanks so much, everyone! We're pretty excited. We have some low quality cell phone photos that I might post once we have signed the lease!

Tiffany: Yes! We'll have to set up a guest room!

Karyn: It's right next to Dufferin Grove Park! We don't have access to the backyard but we'll have the whole park as our backyard!

Erica: Hehe! Harbord is a nice street that has bike lanes. It leads right to U of T. It's not too busy and so it's perfect for bike rides, and it has some coffee shops along it, too. It's the southern border of the Annex area, although sometimes it's considered part of it too. Soon you will know all of this. Don't get intimidated!

  11. Oh, and to further explain, Erica: the new apartment is only a few blocks from where Harbord starts. So I would just ride my bike across some of the side streets and zip across Harbord to get to U of T. It's the perfect route.

Hannah: Thank you! I ordered it from crochetingbyrose on Etsy. They make custom doilies with any word you like, even a ridiculous word like 'cozytown.'
