the golden morning breaks

This morning Geoff came over to me and told me to get out of bed, quick, that the light was so beautiful in the living room. I managed to snap a few photos as it faded. It was a moment that I loved, and then it was gone.

It made me think of Carly.

  3. So, so pretty! It's been *forever* since I've seen any sunshine out here in Chicago, so it's especially nice to live vicariously through yours. :)

  14. These look just like sailing ships at sunrise to me.

There is a line in the song "Our House" by Crosby Stills Nash & Young that goes something like-

    "The windows are illuminated,
by the evening sunshine through them, fire-y gems for you"

Thank you for making me think of boats and sweet old songs! The color in your photos is the best part if you ask me. Such a beauty of a post, Anabela.
