sweet spot

I know this is meant for a kid's room, but wouldn't this little nook be the best spot for tucking away with a book this winter?

I am currently reading The Makioka Sisters by Junichiro Tanizaki -- what are you reading?

  2. I love nooks and little hide-away places. I used to read under my bed as a kid! I'm currently reading Lev Grossman's "The Magicians", and am about to re-read "His Dark Materials".

  7. That does look quite nice. I'm reading an Poirot mystery by Agatha Christie and "His Last Bow and the Case-Book of Sherlock Holmes." I love short mysteries that I can finish despite readings for class.

  9. When we were younger, my sister and I would convert our bunk beds into tents and read by night light. And we wonder why our eyes are so bad now? Our favorites were Laura Ingalls and Babysitter's Club.

  12. This is inspiring! I may create a little nook for myself....the perfect place to curl up and read. Then maybe, just maybe, I'll get through the stack of books waiting for me! :)

  13. I find pictures of nooks very inspiring... I'm very into the idea of home decorating that starts with making each corner beautiful and comfortable first. Thanks for sharing!
