The question is: shoulder pads in, or shoulder pads out?

  1. Shoulder pads in! I never was a big fan, but they look so great mashed up against something pretty and feminine. And you can always take them out later.
By the way I have never commented before but I wanted to say that I think your blog is just LOVELY. Keep up the good work!

  7. I honestly think it depends on your frame. I have broad shoulders and a tiny head...so definitely not for me.

  9. I have really broad shoulders so I would go with out. I don't think should pads would work for me!

  10. I would take them out, but I would be entertained to see you with them in :) And also you wearing this with those cozy boots.

  11. That sweater is adorable and, by the look of it, in super ship-shape – lucky you!

Hmmm... I have broad shoulders too, so I'd probably take them out. But otherwise, I'd leave them in.

  23. I say leave them in! From what I have been seeing on the runways, accentuated shoulders are the new thing! It's a bold statement, go ahead and be bold!

  26. It's kind of funny that I don't think I would ever wear them myself, but I think they somehow seem to go with the shirt as photographed here. And then I skimmed these comments and realized I was way in the minority!

I guess the thing with including the pads is that it (kind of?) precludes wearing any cardigans or whatever on top of it. (I think this is a rule I just invented and I could be totally wrong, but it seems to make sense to me!) So, by my logic, I guess it would depend on whether you'd want to wear it on its own or underneath a layer.

    Bon weekend!
