This last picture is me in the red silk dress I mentioned here. I was testing the camera only to realize it was still set to the aperture settings used for this picture. I kind of like this strange result, though.

Happy Valentimes! Make the best of this corny day! You don't have to be with someone to enjoy something heart-shaped.

About the Diana Mini: I just wanted to say that I love it, and so far I haven't had any problems with it. I don't treat it with particular care, and it's been okay -- but I think this review is a good one to read. The camera is pricey for what it is, so I think it's good for everyone to know about how it could potentially be a disappointing camera! Oh, and also, I wanted to mention that the photo lab I went to, which is just a not-so-fancy lab in a mall, can't handle scanning the negatives. I usually get my 35mm film right on a disc, but because the Diana pictures are square, they can't scan them. So I pay next to nothing for processing and scan them myself. A proper lab would probably be able to do it, but I'm not sure if it would cost more.

amy: It is a hard one to get over. I used to get emails from my friend's mother, and they were probably the most difficult things I ever had to reply to in my life. Just brutal.

tara-lynn: Oh, I'm glad you enjoy them, thank you. I love your pictures! I really do. I'm sorry to hear about your loss.

Flor M.: Thank you!

Kennedy: Oh, that is so sweet of you to say. Thank you.

katie f: Haha, I know the feeling. I opened up my Diana+ recently only to discover a roll of film sitting in there. I had forgotten all about it! The red purse photo was probably an accident (I had had a few beers), but I like it too!

elaina: I love your profile picture! I posted a link to a review of the Diana Mini at the top of this reply section -- just to balance out my praise of it.

robberstore: For our eyes only! I like them, but I totally get it. I hate the ones I'm in, of course.

kate / tinywarbler: Thanks, Kate!

Amy: I can be impatient too... but it's fun!

snap + tumble: I posted a link to a review at the top! It's a pretty fair one!

I really like the way the last picture turned out, and I'm a fan of playing around with the aperture, f-stop and focus to get dreamy-like photos, even though the setting aren't "supposed" to be that way. Beautiful!
