closet & casa

Just a quick note to say that I'm on Oh Joy! today as part of the closet & casa feature. I'm excited! Thanks, Bri & Joy.

And yes, that's the pendant from this post (I ended up ordering it as a late Christmas present for myself) as well as a favourite blouse from Gillian Tennant.

    1. I was pretty impressed that I had two items that matched so well, if I do say so myself.

  3. oh how pretty! That lamp/hanging fixture is absolutely darling. I don't think there is a better color combination than pale pink and cream.

    1. I agree! I don't actually have many pink items in my home but I'm pretty crazy about that little lamp.

  7. Ana... I just followed the link to closet & casa and found out you have the same last name as moi, and you also live in Toronto. Haha I would NOT be surprised if we were distant cousins... but I usually find those in a small town in Portugal during summer breaks. Cheers!

    p.s. I lurve that pendant.

    1. Ha! That's hilarious! Hello, distant relative. There actually used to be a girl who lived in Toronto with my exact same name, but I think she got married and changed it. That was so weird.

    1. Thank you! I was worried they wouldn't be bold enough but then I remembered that Nikole's was so soft and so sweet (literally! Mm, hot chocolate).

  10. Such a lovely feature - nice! :)

PS. I adore that pendant, and that top is beautiful (though pink is not a colour I can wear easily).

    1. Thank you! I haven't even worn the top yet because I'm so worried about ruining it. It's just so pretty.

  14. Hey Anabela, I was planning to order the white or grey lamp from the same store for my flat. Does this size give off enough light for your whole room? Thanks! x

    1. It's hard to say. We use a low-wattage bulb in this pendant because we don't use the overhead light much in the bedroom (just lamps for reading). It doesn't give off a lot of light but if it were a brighter bulb it would. Make sure you check the measurements carefully, though, because even though I had looked at them, when the lamp arrived it seemed so small to me!

    2. Thanks, I was wondering if it might be too small. I love the really big white one so I might go with that.

Yours is so lovely.... like it was made with Fieldguided colours in mind!
