kasia bobula

I first came across the work of photographer Kasia Bobula in Apartamento magazine, not knowing that she also took beautiful photos backstage at fashion shows. No doubt I’ve said it before, but backstage photos are always so much more interesting than runway photos to me. File under “photos I wish I had taken,” once again.

  10. that second image is intense - i just wrote a poem about it, it was so striking. and i think if i ever got to wear a moon-hat i would die of happiness. (which would probably be the easiest way to kill me, if anyone were wanting to do so! since i'm pretty sure it's quite easy to make...)

  18. Photos like this inspire me to find the beauty in things everywhere I look. That's what I adore about photography like this, there is a tenderness to them that makes you realise you need to open your eyes more to the world around you.

  20. This photographer is amazing, thanks for sharing, I adore the softness and lightness of them. I also enjoy backstage photographs way more than runway, I've photographed a few fashion weeks here in New Zealand and am so over sitting in 'the pit' at the end of the runway. Love getting the model's portraits just hanging out backstage. My latest few posts are backstage photos actually!
