summerland's white magic, dark heart

The latest Summerland lookbook is, hands down, one of my favourites of all time. Lover lace, Eskell, Alexandra Grecco, fishtail braids—it is all so good. It was shot in the Columbia Gorge, which is obviously a pretty cool place.

I just finished re-watching the entire (!) run of Buffy the Vampire Slayer so I am really feeling this shoot’s spooky vibes.

  2. Love these. I'm in the middle of watching Buffy for the first time. I missed it the first time around. The future is great for old TV.

  3. Ugh, Buffy was so hard to leave behind once I finished. (I actually went back and watched the first episode again after the finale, y'know just to compare.) I need to go explore this mystic NW Stonehenge for myself soon. This shoot is so perfect!

    1. I think I would feel very emotional if I did that. The ending is still too fresh on my mind. Something about that dang show...!

  6. Isn't Netflix the best? I also watched Buffy, now I'm on a major X-Files kick. Twin Peaks is on there too if you wanna keep the weird flowing.

    1. I tried Twin Peaks but since it requires absolute focus I got very confused a few episodes in. Too much multi-tasking!

  7. Thanks so much for featuring these! Is it ironic that I was also on a big Buffy kick when we did this shoot? ;)
